Washington — Former President Donald Trump introduced Monday the official opening of the “Office of the Former President” in Palm Beach County, Florida, which is tasked with overseeing the forty fifth president’s official actions in his post-presidency life.

“The workplace might be chargeable for managing President Trump’s correspondence, public statements, appearances and official actions to advance the pursuits of the United States and to hold on the agenda of the Trump administration by way of advocacy, organizing and public activism,” the workplace mentioned in an announcement. “President Trump will all the time and perpetually be a champion for the American folks.”

In his final remarks as president earlier than leaving Washington, Mr. Trump advised a crowd of supporters “we’ll see you quickly” and “we might be again in some kind.”

The former president will even be tried in the Senate subsequent month, as the House impeached him for a second time for incitement of insurrection. The Senate received the single article of impeachment from the House on Monday and the trial is predicted to start the week of February 8.
