Two folks have been injured and 20 folks have been displaced Thursday, Feb. 18 after a fireplace in Fountain Valley burned multiple items in an condo complicated, authorities mentioned.

Resident Nathan Medellin was in his kitchen consuming cereal when he noticed his landlord’s home behind his house on fireplace.

He ran out and noticed that his landlord obtained exterior.

“I ran back in, grabbed my shoes and the cops were pulling me out saying, ‘You can’t go back in,’ ” Medellin mentioned.

The younger man was emotional as he recounted that a few of his sports activities memorabilia, letterman jacket and sports activities gear from his highschool days have been burned.

“As long as everyone’s okay … all the other stuff is materialistic stuff,” he mentioned. “But that stuff has memories.”
