Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is getting dragged throughout social media and again once more after abandoning his house state for a tropical trip in Cancun in the course of an enormous disaster.
“Wanting to be a good dad, I flew down with them last night and am flying back this afternoon,” Cruz stated initially. He later admitted it was supposed to be a household journey and he was presupposed to be there “through the weekend.”
Cruz then stated the journey was a mistake. His critics agreed wholeheartedly and lots of turned his poor choice into fodder for gags, memes and photo-editing jokes:
