Over the weekend, writer Matthew Hennessey wrote a column in the New York Post calling on Generation X “to fight the cancel culture” that has develop into a continuing right-wing speaking level, particularly on Fox News.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) shared a hyperlink to the story, and naturally Fox News picked up the trigger with a direct attraction to Gen X:

Many Gen Xers have been fast to level out that the prime Fox News demographic as we speak have been the “adults” of the Seventies and ’80s who tried to limit or ban every little thing from rap and heavy steel music to video video games to Dungeons and Dragons.
