On Friday, The Egyptian Cabinet’s media middle denied social media rumors claiming that some Egyptian ports and airports had been bought to foreign parties.
In response to the rumors, the Cabinet’s media middle contacted the ministries of Transport and Civil Aviation, who each confirmed that the rumors are baseless.
Egyptian ports or airports haven’t been bought to foreign parties, not now and never sooner or later, the middle mentioned in an announcement.
The assertion pressured that ports and airports are totally owned by the state and can stay topic to Egyptian sovereignty, including that the state is presently implementing a method to develop Egypt’s maritime transport system and ports in accordance with the newest international methods in hopes of growing their competitiveness.
